Has it really been a month since our last team blog hop? Has it really been a month since I last blogged?? Wow. Time flies when you’re having fun.

Speaking of time, the clock is running down on Sale-A-Bration. You only have until the end of the month to redeem one of these fabulous products for FREE when you spend $90. Which means it’s time for another “oh go on then, you twisted my arm with your free goodies, I guess I just HAVE to do another order” order. Of the many awesome things about Stampin Up! this is one of the best. Who doesn’t love exclusive free products?

Of course, the stamp sets in SAB are always very popular. Stamps are our jam, after all. But there are other products, too. Memories and More card kits, ribbon, dies, a whole card kit, and some truly beautiful DSP. I’ve been getting plenty of use from all these goodies, but for this blog hop I have chosen to highlight the beautiful Sweet Soiree Memories & More cards.

These cards are beautiful quality and such gorgeous designs that you can use them for so much more than just journalling. They are an excellent way to make a stack of cards quickly and easily.

The colours in this collection are gorgeous together. Especially this combo of Berry Burst, Old Olive, Marina Mist, and Whisper White.

Spy something green and glittery under there? That’s some of the divine Myths & Magic Glimmer Paper from the Occasions catalogue. I think I need to order a couple more stacks of this, I can see some sparkly goodness making its way onto lots projects.

This card was so simple, using one of the large M&M cards with a lovely sentiment. I cut it down close to the writing then used the leftover strips as a boarder, turned over to show off the beautiful coodinating pattern underneath. The ribbon is another Occasions catalogue favourite, the Berry Burst Metallic Edge Ribbon.

This card also uses just one of the M&M cards, cut down to fit on a standard card front. The flowers have a hand coloured look to them and are really lovely.

Can you spy a special little detail peeking out?

Another trick is to use the cards – especially the ones with large blank areas or lines/squares, intended for writing on – on the inside of the card as well.

The best thing is that all the colour coodinating is done for you already and you can quickly make a pretty stack of cards for a variety of occasions.

I hope this has given you the inspiration to look beyond just the awesome stamp sets that form part of Sale-A-Bration and check out some of the other great products as well. There really is fun to be had with everything!

For even more inspiration hop on over to the fabulous and talented Mandy to see her SAB creation, and of course keep on going through the whole team blog hop to see all the amazing projects. I love the variety that our team always produces 🙂
