DIY DSP with Eclectic Expressions

The second batch of Sale-A-Bration goodies has arrived and there are some serious goodies to behold. The Eclectic Expressions stamp set was one I knew I had to have as soon as I saw it. I just love a set with such versatile elements. You can really have fun playing with colour with something like this.

So my first project with this set was to make my own DSP style backgrounds with the round stamp. It’s so quick and easy to do and fun to play around with different colour combinations.

This first one uses Lemon Lime Twist, So Saffron, Daffodil Delight, and Peekaboo Peach.

Pool Party, Marina Mist, Pacific Point, and Night of Navy – all my favourite blues.

And Powder Pink, Peekaboo Peach, Sweet Sugarplum, and Rich Razzleberry.

To keep the coloured backgrounds as the focus I added just a few other elements from the Occasions catalogue – a simple banner of glimmer paper, a sentiment cut with the Truly Tailored punch, and some silver and white baker’s twine and a cute mini binder clip. It’s often these accessories that you miss in a catalogue but are really great to have in your stash.

That glimmer paper really sparkles – I love it!

I’m not sure which is my favourite colour combination. They are all so cute!

Although not the easiest thing to photograph outside while there’s an easterly wind howling… I had to be quick to capture them all together before they fell over again!
