It’s perfect timing this week for me with this week’s Case-ing the Catty Sunday challenge, as I eagerly await the arrival of my own baby!
I really love all the sets in this section of the catty and the Twinkle Twinkle DSP is just gorgeous. What really caught my eye for this challenge though were these cute tags made using the carryover set A Little Wild, which was one of my favourite new additions last year.
Unsurprisingly I’ve been having great fun making baby themed cards of late. Not knowing whether it’s a boy or girl baby we’re expecting means that I’ve been making everything in pairs, one more girl coloured and one boy coloured. So using the above tags as inspiration I created this cute little duo.
The background of both cards is a lovely design in Gray Granite from the Twinkle Twinkle DSP. For my boy friendly baby bear card I’ve used Night of Navy for the blue base and background.
For the girly elephant card I’ve used a base and background circle of Blushing Bride. both animals are coloured with Stampin’ Blends and the sentiment, from A Little Wild, has been stamped directly onto the DSP with basic black ink.
I think they make a sweet and simple pair. And yes, in the background is the baby’s bassinet, hanging and waiting for its baby occupant.

Love it!!! Best wishes for the safe arrival of baby. I’m predicting a girl!!! Kelly x
